On Sunday April 11th, 2010 I hopped a plane and headed to Tokyo for a couple days. It was a short notice vacation as I had booked the flight the week before, Delta Airlines made me an offer I couldn't refuse. I had heard lots of amazing things about Tokyo and wanted to see it for myself. As with most of my trips I did very little reading about the city, actually it's a prefecture, prior to arriving and had absolutely no itinerary. My only goal was to absorb as much authentic Tokyo life as I could in two days and three nights.
